About Teamna
Teamna makes software for small activity businesses in the United Arab Emirates: swimming academies, pilates studios, and sports and kids' clubs.
The problem
Many of these businesses run their week in WhatsApp groups. The owner posts the timetable, answers the same questions every day, and asks for payments by message. When a session moves, somebody always misses the message. Teamna puts this work in one place.
What Teamna does
- A web office for the owner: groups, weekly timetables, members, packages, rules and payments.
- A mobile app for staff, members and parents: today's sessions, bookings, payments and messages.
- Two ways to book: a fixed weekly slot for a term, or open sessions that members book with a package of sessions.
- Your own cancellation and reschedule rules. The app applies them, so you do not have to argue about them.
- Card payments go to your account. Cash and bank transfers are recorded too.
Who we are
Teamna was founded by Anas Nakawa and Lana Juma. We build it in the UAE, for businesses in the UAE.
How we work
We build Teamna with the businesses that use it. The first pilots are a swimming academy and a pilates studio. We set up each pilot business with the owner, and we change the product when a pilot shows us a problem.
Facts
- Based in the United Arab Emirates. Schedules use Asia/Dubai time and prices are in AED.
- AED 275 a month for each business, everything included (pricing). Free for pilot businesses during the pilot. Teamna takes no fee from your payments.
- The app is in English. Arabic comes later.
